Choose from curated paths grouped by theme — Foundations (Faith, Hope, Love, Peace, Joy, Strength, Forgiveness, Prayer), Life Seasons, Character, Relational, Identity & Calling, and more. Or build a custom path from any verses you want.

One verse a day.

A new verse is added to your deck each day. Tap the card to flip between the reference and the full text. Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard to control how much of the verse is shown on the front.

Review and recite.

Every session runs through your full deck. Recite aloud and the app checks your words against the verse using on-device speech recognition — nothing is sent to a server. Hints are available if you get stuck.

Yes. BibleDeck is free. All paths, custom paths, translations, and speech mode are included with no paywall, no ads, and no subscription. If the app is useful to you, there's an optional tip jar in Settings — but it's entirely optional.
BibleDeck currently includes the Berean Standard Bible (BSB) and the King James Version (KJV). You can switch translations in Settings — speech recognition checks against whichever one you've selected.
Nothing breaks. There are no streaks and no penalties — your path just picks up where you left off the next time you open the app.
Tap the mic and recite the verse out loud. The app transcribes what you say and matches it against the selected translation word by word, marking what you got right and what was missed. Recognition runs entirely on your device — your voice is never sent to a server.
Yes. Build a custom path by adding any verses you want. It works the same as the curated paths — one new verse per day, full review of the deck each session.
No. There's no sign-up, no email, no account. Your progress, settings, and custom paths are stored locally on your device.
